Dirty Dick’s Crab House

Just wanted to provide feedback on dirty dicks in Hatteras North Carolina. I was staying in Hatteras in July 2009 with my 2 sons my older son’s girlfriend and my wife. We ate out every night. Our favorite seafood place was the mad crabber in avon from previous vacations and we visited there also. But we wanted a change. Although I read a few bad reviews on Dirty Dics at other locations I decided to give the Hatteras location a try. The “all you could eat option” appealed to my older son and I. We all loved the experience though. We went on 07/22/09 and came back one more time on 07/24/09. We had many orders of crab legs. They kept bringing them. Our entire group had such a great time that we bought $100 of tshirts as souvenirs on the last night. We were very lucky a general manager was there by the name of Dale Green. Our server was Kathy. Dale served us a few times and gave us background info on the chain. I always laughed at the tshirts when i spotted them at different locations. Now I understand the fascination. Dirty Dicks is now my favorite seafood restaurant at the OBX. I will also seek out other locations. Give it a try. Ask for Kathy in Hatteras. If you go to another location ask if Dale Green is there – he travels throughout the small chain to improve service. it has been 6 weeks since I was there and it was bugging me that I waited till 09/07/09 to write this review.
